Transplant Center Information

The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) maintains a computer database of patients waiting for donated organs for transplant and records transplants performed in the United States. Data are collected by the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) from hospitals and organ procurement organizations (OPOs) across the country. The Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR) publishes a report of center-specific graft and patient survival rates in January and July of each year, which reflect these data.

View or download complete patient or graft survival data.

  • Select desired organ (i.e., kidney)
  • Select "Search by State"
  • Select desired state from drop-down menu
  • Find desired facility and select "Report"
  • Choose: "View Complete Report in PDF" or a table from the drop-down menu (i.e., 00-Summary, 01-Waitlist Activity)

A User's Guide explaining table content is available at the end of each complete transplant report or in the facility table drop-down menu as "G-User's Guide."

Transplant program data are adjusted to consider demographic elements such as age, facility size, chronic disease risk, specialized kidney donor programs, as well as other factors. This offers patients, their families, and practitioners the ability to compare observed and expected outcomes among centers. Information on these websites can be used to compare transplant center performance data.
