Network Council
Quality Insights Renal Network 4 maintains a Network Council that meets the statutory requirements of §1881(c) of the Social Security Act. The Network Council is:
- Composed of individuals representing renal dialysis and transplant centers located in the Network service area;
- Is representative of the geographic distribution and types of dialysis facilities and transplant centers in the Network service area;
- Includes at least two dialysis and/or transplant patients receiving services in the Network service area who are representative of the geographic and cultural diversity of the communities served by the dialysis and transplant centers in the Network service area.
The Network Council shall meet at least once a year in person, by teleconference, or by electronic communication to provide input into the activities of the Network and serve as a liaison between the Network and ESRD providers.
