Quality Insights Renal Network 4 brings extensive experience in working with kidney care partners and quality improvement. Our Renal Network division is part of Quality Insights, a not-for-profit organization with a mission of “bringing people and information together to improve health.”  

Quality Insights also serves as ESRD Network 3 and ESRD Network 5 through its Quality Insights Renal Network division. Adding to its renal network experience, Quality Insights holds Quality Innovation Network - Quality Improvement Organization designation in the states of Delaware, Louisiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Here at Quality Insights Renal Network 4, we:

  • Ensure representation of ESRD patients in shared decision making related to ESRD care in order to promote person-centeredness and family engagement.  

  • Provide educational resources for patients, families and renal professionals.

  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement at the individual facility level and provide technical assistance as needed to reach improvement goals.

  • Promote vocational rehabilitation to help patients continue working or return to the work force.

  • Protect ESRD patients' access to and quality of dialysis care by supporting facilities and staff in resolving patient issues and assisting in the resolution of patient grievances.

  • Promote all modalities of care, including home modalities and transplantation, as appropriate, so as to promote patient independence and improve clinical outcomes. 

  • Ensure accurate, complete, consistent, and timely data collection, analysis, and reporting by facilities in accordance with national standards and the ESRD Quality Incentive Program (QIP).  

  • Share best practices to improve quality of care for ESRD patients, including Network involvement in Learning and Action Networks (LANs).  

  • Ensure that people who have been diagnosed with end-stage renal disease receive the care they need.

Our foremost goal is to provide patient-focused services to over 20,000 dialysis patients in our Network, helping them navigate the system and take an active role in their care.
